The Helen M. Powell Food Bank

The Helen M. Powell Food Bank was established through the Southern Appalachian Labor School (SALS), a non-profit organization founded in 1977 initially to educate local workers in Fayette County, WV about labor law. Over the years, SALS has grown to include other programs that provide community services. Please consider donating to help feed needy families in our area in honor of this special woman who cared so much about others.
