Obituary For Lamonte Clements

Mr, Lamonte Clements, 71, of Beckley, WV passed away of natural causes at home on Saturday, September 2, 2023. Born on September 29, 1951, he was the son of the late Louis and Louise Clements. Lamonte graduated from Woodrow Wilson HS, served in the US Army and was a Purple Heart recipient and Vietnam Veteran.

In addition to his parents, Lamonte was preceded in death by his beloved wife Vera, and brothers Calvin and Charles Clements. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Montesha Hickman of Daytona Beach, FL and Kelsia Matthews of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren Deon Hickman of Beckley, WV, Deja Hickman of Daytona Beach, FL, Mariyah Matthews of Charlotte, NC and Walter Matthews III of Charlotte, NC; and great grandchildren Silas Hickman and Eliana Matthews.
