Minister Thompson was affectionately known for his sense of humor and his outspoken points of view. There was never a dull moment when he was in the room and he always had something to say to keep your spirits high and full of laughter.

Minister Thompson was a former employee of Beckley Cab Company for a number of years and worked as a nurse’s aide at Care Haven of Raleigh, now Raleigh Rehabilitation Center, Daniels, WV, until becoming disabled in the late 80’s.

I met Curtis about 11 years ago through my Aunt. Although my Aunt passed in 2016 Curtis and I stayed in touch with one another. I am glad that we met and had some good laughs together. He was a true brother in the Lord. May God comfort and give peace to the family and friends. He's in the presence of our Heavenly Father and we will see him again. K Mitchell Atlanta Ga
