Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mr. Alvin "Bob" Amick of Oak Hill, WV passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Princeton Hospital in Princeton, WV following a short illness.

He was born September 5, 1942 in Minden, WV to the late Albert and Freda Amick.

Bob lived an interesting life as a member of the United States Navy, heavy equipment operator and coal miner. His most cherished role in life was that of a father and a husband.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Amick

Bob is survived by his wife of 27 years, Bonnie Dale Amick; sons, Allen Amick of WV and Jason (Tina) Amick of VA; step-sons, Jamie Dale of PA and Toby Dale of NV; grandchildren, Kelsey Amick, Jeromy, Alexis and Ronald Hargis of VA and Matthew Amick, Nicholas Amick, and Shannon Young, and Chelsea (Nate) Marino and Kody Dale of PA; 6 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

As per Bob's request, no service will be held.
