Obituary For Mr. Arnold D. Walker

Arnold Dean “Shorty” Walker, 71, of Beckley, WV died Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Hilltop Nursing Home. Born April 3, 1947 in Talcott, WV, he was the son of the late Ernest and Francis Walker Sr He worked as a handyman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest Jr., Willis and Ronald Walker and sister, Temple Louise Walker.

Left to cherish memories are his girlfriend, Brenda of Charleston, WV; sisters Rosetta Johnson of Beckley, WV and Sherri Gray of Charleston, WV; brother, Rickie (Diana) Walker of Orlando, FL and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial service will be 1:00PM Wednesday January 16, 2019 at United Missionary Baptist Church, 205 S. Fayette Ave. Mt. Hope, WV with Rev. Phillip E. Copney Sr. officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

BRENDA, I NOT SURE IF YOU REMEMBER ME OR NOT BUT I WAS WELL ACQUAINTED WITH SHORTY THRU HILLTOP WHEN I WAS A PATIENT THERE ONCE IN APRIL ASLO SEPTEMBER. I DIDNT KNOW HE WENT TO BE WITH JESUS TILL THIS MJORNING(11919 WHEN I CALLED HILLTOP AND AQSKED TO SPEAK TO HIM.MY HEART IS FAlling apart,i dont care if i ever go back yhere since He is not there.
