Mr. Charles Hooper 70, of Minden died Thursday, March 9, 2017.

Born April 6, 1946 in Minden, WV, he was the son of the late Henry and Lola Yancey Hooper.

Mr. Hooper worked as an automobile mechanic.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Johnny, James, Carrie, Percy, Andrew ôFentonö, Annie, and Virginia.

Those left to cherish precious memories are his children, Shavonna Hooper, Shawna Hooper, Cara Hooper- Walling, Charles Hooper Jr., Shane Hooper, and Shannon Hooper; sisters, Ruby (Jordan) Evans, Flossie Hooper, Henrietta Davis and Catherine (Jodie) Frazier; 5 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Carlisle 7065 Okey L. Patterson Rd, Carlisle, WV Pastor Charles Brown with officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
