Obituary For Mr Christopher Shane Colin

Mr. Christopher Shane Colin Sr., 42, of Gaffney, SC formerly of Talcott, WV, passed away suddenly on August 4, 2020 due to complications from a recent surgery.

Christopher was born on August 10, 1978 to Phyllis R. Hannah and George R. Colin.

Christopher's kids were the world and the light of his life. He enjoyed his job as a welder and had a passion for hunting and fishing. He had an infectious smile that could light up the darkest of rooms. He will be missed by so many people.

Christopher was preceded in death by step-father, Edmond Hannah; cousin, Corey Henry; brother, Gregory Poole; nephew, Zachary Eggleston; maternal grandparents, Robert and Jewel Gore and paternal grandparents, Mary Ruth Allen and James Colin.

Christopher is survived by his mother, Renee; father, George (Gloria); daughters, Alanna Gross, Jadiqua Shepard and Zaniya Colin; Ashley Stone, the mother of his three boys, Christopher Jr., Cae’ Naan Colin and Caleb Colin; son Akwondre Colin; nephew, Zavea Martin; sisters, Tomeka Colin, Manija Torain and Stephanie Ellis; brother, Derrick Hannah and many friends, family, nieces and nephews that he cherished as well.

Private funeral service will be 12:00Noon Friday, August 14, 2020 at Heart of God Ministries, 1703 South Kanawha Street, Beckley with Bishop Fred T. Simms officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service, where masks, gloves and social distancing will be required.
