Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mr. Clinard "BB" Bernard Bowles, Jr., 51, of Scarbro, WV, formerly of Ansted, died Monday, June 20, 2016.

Born December 19, 1964 in Montgomery, WV, he was the son of the late Clinard and Martha Taylor Bowles, Sr.

"BB", as he was affectionately called, worked for Channel 6 news, was a firefighter, and a detailer at Ramey of Cranberry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and sister, Clementine Bowles Mabry.

Left to cherish precious memories are his loving wife, Doris "Laney" Cosby Bowles; children, Corey Pridemore of Dunbar, WV, Airforce Staff Sgt. Jason Bowles in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Ramona Bowles of Oak Hill, WV; two grandchildren; sisters, Mary Robinson and Dorothy (Tommy) Davis, both of Ansted, WV, Darlene Bowles of Oak Hill, WV and Sally (Raymond) Benson of Columbia, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12 noon, Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Spirit & Truth Ministries, 100 West Main Street, Oak Hill. Burial will follow in Mt. Chapel Cemetery, Ansted, WV.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church.
