Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mr. Corey Jerome Henry, 40, of Beckley died Tuesday, April 10, 2018.

Born December 4, 1977, in Hinton, WV, he was the son of Lawrence and Crystal Gore Henry.

He was an Entrepreneur and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death are his maternal grandparents, Maurice and Jewel Gore; paternal grandfather, Samuel Henry and cousins, Jewell Newkirk and Zachary Eggleston.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish precious memories are his brother, Jeremy Henry of Beckley; half-brother, Michael Harshaw Jr. and half-sister, Tomarra Harshaw, both of Hinton, WV; paternal grandmother, Martha Henry; special cousins, Denisha Henry, Laconda Gore, Rafael Jackson, Christopher Colin and Floyd Newkirk Jr. and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00PM Saturday, April 28, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church, 304 Worley Road, Beckley with Bishop Fred T. Simms, and Rev. Nathaniel Carey officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
