Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mr. Danny Eugene Claytor, 70, of Stanaford, WV, died Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

​Born May 18, 1953 in Stanaford, WV, he was the son of the late Gentle Lee and Rosa Belle Cousins Claytor.

Danny was devoted to the stock exchange. He liked fishing, helping in the neighborhood and mowing grass. He loved music and to dance.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Moore, Henry, James, George, Ricky, Michael and David and sister, Rosa M. Claytor.

Those left to cherish precious memories are his brothers, Authur, Kyle, and Darrell, all of Stanaford, WV, Robert of Phoenixville, PA, Tony of Chicago, IL, and James Harbison of Tampa, FL; sisters, Gwendolyn of Boones Mills, VA, Patricia of Phoenixville, PA, Marsha of Stanaford, WV and Pamela J. of CT and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family conducted memorial service will be 11:00AM Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church 141 New Guinea Ave. Stanaford, WV with Pastors Damon Hamby and Brian Kiko Wallington officiating.

Friends, while wearing masks and observing social distancing, may visit with the family thirty minutes prior.

As per his request, he has been cremated.
