Mr. Derrick Anthony Lewis, of Beckley, was unexpectedly called home February 10, 2021.

Derrick was born September 10, 1985 in Beckley, he was the son of Carl Lewis and the late Cynthia Hall. He was raised in Beckley in the East Park community.

Derrick always kept everyone laughing, had a kind, gentle soul and loved his children, family and friends above all else.

Derrick leaves to cherish precious memories his daughter, Kyla of NC; sons, Cameron of VA and Shamontay of Beckley; sisters, Tausha Morris of Beckley, Andrea Sorrell and Asia Lewis; brother, Allen Redford; uncles, Donald Hall and William Hall, both of Beckley; uncles, James Lewis, Michael Lewis and Nathaniel Lewis; aunts, Eva Humphries and Mary Calloway, both of Beckley; Sharon Woods of Charleston, Donna Poindexter and Vivian Robinson; God-mother Robin Harbinson; God-sister, Nautica Torrain and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Private funeral service will be 1:00PM Friday, February 19, 2021 at Welcome Baptist Church 206 Eighth St., Beckley with Bishop David Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.

Friends, while wearing gloves and masks and observing social distancing, may call one hour prior to the service.
