OAK HILL ù Mr. Desmond TuRon Newsom, 26, of Oak Hill, died Thursday, August 27, 2015.

Born October 11, 1988, he was the son of Ronald Newsom of Glen Jean and Tonya Marion of Mt. Hope.

Mr. Newsom was a member of Jones Avenue Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley Woodson and Joshua Newsom.

Those left to cherish precious memories are his wife, Ashley OÆDell Newsom; sons, John David, Jordan Dominic, and Jacob DeÆAndre, all of Oak Hill; brothers, Davon Marion and Deon Newsom, both of Princeton, Joshua Newsom of Pax, and Isaiah Newsom of Glen Jean; sisters, Lasasha Marion of Mt. Hope, Chelsea Waddell of Glen Jean, and Olivia Gill of Talcott; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Jones Avenue Church of God, Jones Ave. and Bibb St., Oak Hill, WV, with Reverend Pat Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Garden, Oak Hill, West Virginia. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at the church.
