Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mr. Dimitri Simmons, 69, of Beckley, WV passed away tragically on Tuesday, September 29, 2024, in an automobile accident.

Dimitri was born April 22, 1955, A proud U.S. Navy veteran, he served his country with honor and dedication.

Dimitri was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Simpson.

Dimitri is survived by his father, Kermit Simmons; brother, Albert E. Simmons; sister, Nicolette Simmons; beloved nephews, Frank Brown and Eugene Kelly; and niece, Dominque Davis and a host of other relatives and friends.

Dimitri will be remembered for his service, his love for family, and the memories he created with those who knew him. His loss is deeply felt, and he will be forever missed.

As per his request, he has been cremated.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
