Obituary For Mr. Dwayne Brown

Mr. Dwayne Edmond “Tiny” Brown, 64, of Beckley, WV departed this life on Monday, April 20, 2026.

Dwayne was born July 31, 1961, in Beckley, WV, to Erverlene Branham.

Dwayne was a 1980 graduate of Beckley, WV, Vocational Technical School. Over the years, he worked in a variety of roles in Beckley including at the former Beckley Skating Rink, Cracker Barrel, and ResCare. He also did part-time landscaping and, for many years, cared for the lawn at North Beckley Church. In addition, he often helped many of the elderly in his neighborhood with their lawns.

Dwayne was known for his unique spirit and his ability to find joy in life’s simplest moments. He loved cars and was a self-taught mechanic. If a car passed by he could tell you the year, make, model, and engine size. You would often see him at Walmart shopping or just talking to people. He enjoyed watching his television shows which consisted of various car shows, wrestling, and his favorite, In the Heat of the Night.

Dwayne was preceded in death by his mother, Erverlene Branham, sister, Rita Branham and aunt, Thelma Brown.

Dwayne is survived by his brothers, Benjamin Branham and James Branham (Tanya); sister, Teresa Branham (Todd); nieces and nephews, Adam Branham, Mary Branham, Tashaira Branham, Phillip Cox, Jasmin Watson, Abrayshia Branham, Semaj Branham-Barnes, Alexis Branham, Zephania Branham and Jarren Branham; great-
