Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mr. Early Henderson, 68, of Mabscott died Tuesday, August 2, 2016.

Born June 5, 1948 in Wytheville, VA, he was the son of the late William and Stella Henderson.

He worked as a Veteran Consultant and was a member of the Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Sr., John Henry, Stan and sister, Elizabeth Henderson.

Those left to cherish precious memories are his son, Jermil M. Henderson of Mabscott; daughter, Sherica N. Henderson of Madison, WI; brother, Clarence Henderson of Bluefield, WV; sister, Nancy Henderson of Brooklyn, NY; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Ritchie & Johnson Funeral Parlor Chapel, 748 South Fayette Street, Beckley, with Bishop David Allen officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 15, 2016 in Donel C. Kinard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, 130 Academy Drive, Dunbar, WV.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Parlor.
