Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mr. Edward Allen Hosey, 89, of Minden, WV, died Tuesday. July 23, 2019. Born November 4, 1929 in Summerlee, WV, he was the son of the late Ed and Odessa Hooper Hosey. Mr. Hosey was a coalminer. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by brothers, Roland, Kenneth and Jerry; sisters, Shirley Woodson, Drema Robinson and Linda Marie. Those left to cherish precious memories are his wife, Faustina; daughters, Cheryl L. Hosey of Charleston; Melinda Taylor of Fort Washington, MD, Cassandra Chappelle of Huntington, WV; sisters, Bobby Bailey of Hendersonville, TN and Gloria Jean Biggers, both of Hendersonville, TN, Genevieve Bailey of Fairburn, GA and Marcella Hosey of Brooklyn, NY and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service 12:00PM Friday, August 2, 2019 at Spirit & Truth Ministries 100 Main Street W. Oak Hill with Dist. Elder Robert F. Taylor and Bishop Sam Calloway officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.
