Obituary For Mr. Fred Sherer

Mr. Fred Sherer, 78, of Fayetteville, WV formerly of Minden, WV passed Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

Fred was born December 15, 1945 in Minden, WV, he was the son of the late Thomas Sherer Sr. and Arnetta Thompson Sherer.

Fred was of the Christian faith.

Fred, in addition to his parents, was preceded in death by his brothers, Houston, Peter, and Thomas, Jr., and sisters, Elouise Lester and Faustina Hosey

Fred leaves to cherish precious memories his children, Daryl Munger New Jersey and Timothy Bullock of Charleston, WV and La-Ching Saunders-Morris of Fayetteville, WV and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Friends, while wearing masks and observing social distancing, may view and visit with the family from 10:00AM-10:45AM Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the funeral parlor followed by graveside service at Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley with Bishop Sam Calloway officiating.

The family request the cards and flowers sent to his daughter, La-Ching Saunders-Morris at 333 Pierce Street, Fayetteville, WV 25840.

Arrangements entrusted to Ritchie & Johnson Funeral Parlor, Beckley.
