Obituary For Mr. Garland Martin

Mr. Garland Wayne Martin, 66, was born October 6, 1959, and passed Thursday, November 6, 2025 following a short illness.

Garland worked for many years at Ray Wells Chevrolet.

Garland, an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing and hunting, spending summers on the river and falls in the woods hunting.

Garland was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jackson Martin Sr. and Elsie Mae Martin.

He will be deeply missed by his loved ones, including his son, Alex Martin; siblings, Andrew Martin Jr., Rick Martin, Carlton & Gwen Martin, Mary Martin, Rose Harley and Harold & Gayla Martin; nieces, Lisa Smith and Jenesha Courts; nephews, Rob Harley and Jason Martin; special friend, Charlene Morgan and family.

Graveside service will be 12:00PM Friday November 14, 2025 at Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hunters Helping the
