Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mr. Goldie C. Bruh Rhodes, 64, of Beckley, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018.

Born June 1, 1953 in Ronceverte, WV, he was the son of Newassa D. Creasy Rhodes of Beckley and the late Goldie F Rhodes.

Goldie served in The US Air Force and The Beckley Police Department as an Arson Investigator.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Reginald and Sandra Rhodes.

Left to cherish precious memories are his son, Jarrad JC (Heather) Rhodes of Boca Raton, FL; daughters, April Rhodes and Alexis Rhodes, both of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Freddie Rhodes of Bluefield and Kermit (Marie) Rhodes of Beckley; sisters, Vanessa Rhodes and JoAnn (Mike) Ross, both of Beckley and Marsha (Michael) Brookins of Severn, MD; grandchildren, Jaylia Rhodes Taylore Houston and Bryson Rhodes, all of Charlotte, NC, Kailee Rhodes of Wyoming County, Julian Rhodes and Aubrianna Rhodes, both of Boca Raton, FL; fianc?e, Shelia Washington of Beckley and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be 5:00pm-7:00pm, Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Beckley/Raleigh County Convention Center, 200 Armory Dr., Beckley.
