Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mr. Gregory A. "G-Nice" Gray, 48, of Oak Hill, died Sunday, August 30, 2015.

Born March 5, 1967 in Oak Hill, WV, he was the son of the late Lee Phillip and Carolyn Ann Brown Gray.

He worked for Global Contact Services and was a member of Solid Rock Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kareem Ali Gray; nephews, Ra'sean Lee Gray and Maurice Lamar McCain; maternal grandmother, Martha Alexander and maternal step-grandmother, Ruth Brown; paternal grandparents, William Gray and Louise Johnson Gray.

Those left to cherish precious memories are sons, Gregory Andrew Thomas of GA, Phillip Andrew Gray, Deigo Gray, both of PA, and Lucas of Oak Hill; brothers, Phillip Lamont (Fannie) Gray of Oak Hill, Robert Gray of Mt. Hope; sisters, Sheila (William) Johnson of Texas, Portia Gray of Mt. Hope, and Sabrina Gray of GA; grandfather, James Brown of Washington DC; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, September 11, 2015 at United Missionary Baptist Church, 205 South Fayette Ave, Mt Hope, WV with Rev. Phillip Copney, officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church.
