Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mr. James Edward Shannon, 45, of Beckley, WV died Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Raleigh General Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Linda Ann Shannon and Edward Pittman Jr.; two daughters, Tashelle and Tasha Shannon; nephew, Mark Avery Hurtte and, niece Gina Rea Pittman.

Left to cherish his memory are his long-time companion, Pauline Heath, two sons, Isaiha and Sema'j Shannon; five sisters, Lisa Shannon, Andrea Shannon, Chaucey Craig, Sandra Pittman and Sharon Pittman and a host of nieces. nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews. Service will be 2:00PM Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Welcome Baptist Church 206 Eighth Street, Beckley, with Bishop David Allen officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
