Millie and William, there are no words that can express or ease the pain that your family are enduring during this difficult time. I'm extremely sorry for your loss. Joe Lee as I've known him for years was a very good and hard working man. He would give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it. He was a very hard worker and loved and appreciated by many. I'm honored to have known him. He left a legacy here on this earth that will never be forgotten. I pray that God continues to wrap his loving arms around both of you as well as all of his kids and family members and comfort each of you. My family and I love you and we're here for you anytime you need us.

Millie and William, My heart broke when I heard about Joe. I have never met such a good man. He was hard working, always had a smile on his face and I trusted him with my life. If he had a bad day you would never know as the grin would always be in place. He would talk of William with love in his eyes and how proud he was. If I ever needed him he would come running. I will always have a place in my heart for him and when I think of him I'll remember the good times. Rest easy Joe for the angels have welcomed you in. I love you and will miss you. Kim Stephens

Joe was a gentle and kind man. He worked hard all his life. He was loved by all who knew him. He never met a stranger. He was a friend to all. Joe worked with my son, Jeremiah when he was in High School. Joe always looked out him and many others along his way. Joe and his lovely family enjoyed having dinner at my house on special holidays. He was always so grateful for anything you did for him. I praise God for his service here on earth. He was truly blessed. He had a beautiful family. Lord, please comfort them and show them peace in the coming days ahead. Please continue to bless them as you did Joe. Joe is dancing with the angels now. You will be missed by all. Your Friend, Dinah Perdue

Rest easy Mr. Joe. He was such a good person and so kind he would see my son and say oh mr. barry got it made lol He was such a hard worker anytime you went in up at Grants he was always working and always had a big smile on his face. It was a true pleasure meeting him and I am glad he is no longer in pain. Prayers for all his family and friends because the world has lost such an old soul and a kind man.

Joe had a special bond with each and every one of us that has worked with him thru out the years as we all did with him. Joe was old school and he was military, and he worked hard every day of his life. When you were friends with Joe you had a true friendship in that man. Many times when i was younger and acting a fool and talking to him about my shenanigans he would set me straight as if i was one of his kids. He taught me the value of hard work in the years i worked with him and i appreciate that now that I am older with a kid of my own. He stopped by my house not long ago and spent an hour or so with my daughter and I and we just talked about everything Im thankful that he did that, I feel that was his goodbye that day because he knew this day was coming. I am broken, we all lost an amazing man that touched our lives in so many ways with work and friendship. I pray he rests easy now. But if i know Mr. Lee hes already working in Heaven!
