Obituary For Mr. Kelvin Bryant Heath

Mr. Kelvin Bryant Heath, 58, passed away on Monday September 4, 2023.

He was born on October 9, 1964 in Beckley, WV to Herman A. Heath and Lois “Libby” E. (Johnson) Heath.

Kelvin grew up in Beckley and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1982. An inductee into Who’s Who Among American High School Students, Kelvin was awarded a scholarship to attend West Virginia University.

In 1990, Kelvin moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, where he worked in hospitality and financial management for many years before moving back to WV.

The love for his family was evident by the support he continually showed for his parents, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He would do anything for his family to ensure everyone was taken care of, especially his sisters. His laugh was infectious, and he loved a good joke.

Kelvin was preceded in death by his father, Herman A. Heath.

Kelvin is survived by his beloved fur baby, Onyx; his mother Lois E. Heath of Beckley, WV; five sisters: Tari Benson of Columbia, SC; Teresa Heath, Tracie Heath, Pauline Heath and Schenille (Richard) Swain of Beckley, WV; five nieces: LaToya McNulty, Kenya Heath, DawnSha Heath, DeAndra (Zane) House and Raquel Swain; eight nephews: Carl Waldron, Tarin Benson, Keith Heath Sr., Kelly Heath, Semaj’ Shannon, David Heath, Roman Swain, and Rio Swain; four great-nieces: Amelia Heath, Karman House, Hazel Shortt, and Amelia Shannon; three great-nephews: Keith Heath Jr., Aamir Heath, and Aiden House. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family members, and friends who will forever cherish the love and memories shared.

As per his request, he has been cremated.

Family directed memorial service will be 3:00PM Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Apostolic Lighthouse Deliverance Temple 121 Morgan St. Beckley.

Sending love and prayers to the Heath family. Uncle Kelvin is what he was call by some of the girls from the very first AAU Tornadoes Girls Basketball Team. Kelvin would offer his time, car, and money to make sure they got to the out of state games, often driving them himself. A wonderful man, with a great heart.❤️
