Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Kenneth Leon Copney, was born on December 10, 1962 in Beckley WV. He was the eldest of five children and only son born to the late Ralph and Evang. Margaret Copney. The Lord called him home on February 10, 2018. He was proceeded in death by his nephew AJ Lamontagne and mother Evang Margaret Copney.

He attended Woodrow Wilson High School and served in the US Navy. He was an avid walker.

Kenny leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Charlene of Beckley, his daughter Rebecca and son Othello of Cross Lanes, WV. His granddaughter Alaiya Kaori Davis. Three sisters, Cathy Copney, Fairmont WV, Sheila Lamontagne (Lee) of Jacksonville FL and Diana Frazier of Beckley, WV. Two Aunts, Virginia White of Beckley, WV and Bernadine Barnes (Choice) of Valdosta GA. One uncle, Bernard Johnson (Emma), Covina CA. Four nephews, John Jasper, Isaiah Lamontagne, Darius Copney and Donovan Agee and four nieces Gabrielle and Valarie Jasper, Dione Copney and Alexis Lamontagne and a host of cousins, friends and other relatives.

A memorial service will be Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Faith Temple of Deliverance Church. Located at 119 Deegans St, Beckley, WV.
