Mr. Lewis Henry “Lucho” Allen Jr., 48, of Mount Hope, WV passed Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Lewis was born August 19, 1973 in Beckley, WV, he was the son of Lewis Henry Allen Sr. of Mt. Hope and the late Elizabeth Glover.

Lewis was a cook at Gino’s Spaghetti House. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, working on cars, playing spades, listening to music, and showing off his dancing skills.

Lewis was preceded in death by his mother and sisters, Miyako Tomasa Allen and Tomeka Walker, and other relatives.

Lewis leaves to cherish precious memories his loving daughter, Larissa “Red” Allen of Mount Hope, WV: father Lewis (Debra) Allen Sr. of Mount Hope, WV; sister, Kizzy Glover of Bradley, WV: brother, Dante’ Scruggs, Oak Hill, WV; step-father, Michael Glover of Oak Hill, WV; special nephew, Micheal “Bone” McFarland; great-niece, Nalaya McFarland of Mount Hope, WV; step-daughter, Destine Daniels and granddaughter, Jade Daniels of Oak Hill, WV; other nephews, Deonte Scruggs, Tayshaun Scruggs, Markus Walker and Marquis Walker; niece, Tae’a Scruggs and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00PM Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Glorious Church of God in Christ 421 Main St. Mt. Hope with Pastor Les Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park Beckley.

Friends, while wearing masks and observing social distancing, may view and visit with the family one hour prior to the funeral service.
