He always let it be known when he'd see me just how much he loves Jarah, Jamari and Ayzia. He was so proud of the beautiful son (Jamari) you two made together. He was a man that worked hard (he did some work for me at my home) and a man that always spoke of his love for his entire family when I would see him out, too many he mentioned at different times to name. My heart just broke when I saw today that my friend Richard had passed away. I was very fortunate and blessed to know this man for many many years beginning at our employment at RGH. He was not only the kindest man, but the most hard working man I've ever known. Many times I would tell him that he needed to slow down and rest a little, but he was happiest when he was working. My condolences go out to his family. I pray for God to give you strengthen and comfort during this difficult time. Please know that he was loved beyond measure and we will all rejoice when see him again in Heaven.

To the Steelman family, my family's heartfelt condolences go out to all of you. Growing up in East Park, in the 50's and 60's, bound that whole community together as an extended family. Brother Dickie Steelman's passing will be missed by all of us here on earth, but one glorious day we shall all be reunited in heaven.
