Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mr. Roger Baron Powers, 68 of Oak Hill, WV died Monday, December 6, 2021.

Born March 16, 1953 in Raleigh County, WV he was the son of the late Harry James and Naomi Ruth Allen Powers. Roger was a Class of 1971 Mount Hope High School graduate and a manager at Kroger in Oak Hill for many years. He was also a skilled hunter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Rusty.

Those left to cherish precious memories are his wife, Donna; children, Roger (Sarah) Powers Jr., Amy (Steven) Yarber, Laura Powers and Bobby Atha; eight grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Committal service will be 1:30PM Monday, December 13, 2021 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens 5251 Robert C. Byrd Dr. Beckley with Pastor William McClung officiating.
