Obituary For Mr. Ronell William Worth Jr.

Mr. Ronell “Nell” Worth Jr. was born on Wednesday, November 18, 1998, to Ronell Worth Sr. and Adrienne Worth. He entered his eternal rest on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH.

To know Nell was to love him. He made friends everywhere he went. He was a kind person with a wild sense of humor to go with his infectious laugh. Ronell was never able to work a formal job, but he was the CEO of the Worth household for 27 years. He was also an unofficial Walmart greeter. Whenever he went there to buy his favorite items (Jergens lotion and deodorant), he would speak to everyone that passed by, not only because he was friendly but because he was mischievous, and it brought him great joy to push his mom’s buttons. He bravely took on the “impossible” job of keeping his little brothers in line, though it usually turned into a three-way debate. He secretly loved the playful arguing, enjoyed riding around town with his dad, and proudly appointed himself head of his mom’s dinner menu.

In addition to being a boss and a greeter, Ronell moonlighted as a DJ with one of the best old-school R&B playlists around. Ronell loved to travel. His favorite places to go several times a year were Myrtle Beach and Pigeon Forge, TN. He also loved talking to his best friend, Madison, all day on the phone and looked forward to their Tuesday lunch dates with her and a few more friends. Nell loved all of his family, and we all loved him even more. He was a joy and a blessing to have in our lives, and he will be greatly missed.

Little Ronell gave his life to Jesus Christ in his youth. He was baptized on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his brothers, Rason Worth and Ramone Worth, of the home; grandparents, Mr. Tomie Walters Sr. and Mrs. Delois Walters of Bowling Green, KY, Mrs. Deborah McDonald and Mr. Ronnie McDonald of Charlotte, NC; great-grandmother, Ms. Pauline Leftwich of Northfork, WV and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends, with whom he shared a special bond.

Funeral service will be 12:00PM Friday, February 20, 2026 at Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal 104 Park St. Bluefield. Burial
will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Bluefield.
