Obituary For Mr. Thomas Edward White Jr.
Mr. Thomas Edward White Jr., 74, of Ft. Wayne, IN formerly of Beckley, WV peacefully passed away on April 4, 2026.
Thomas was born on December 12, 1951, in Beckley, WV. He resided in Ft. Wayne, IN until his passing. He was known for his unwavering dedication to family, service, and a steadfast work ethic.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Edward White Sr.; mother, Thanita Lowe White; and sisters, Janice English and Michelle White.
Thomas will be fondly remembered by his wife, Linda Kelsey White; sons, Thomas White III (Robin) of Nashville, TN, and Steven Hall of St. Albans, WV; Mike Mulvihill and Marcel Mulvihill, both of Kingston, Ontario CA, and Jon Mulvihill of Fort Wayne, IN; daughters, Melissa Bruce (Everett) of Clarksville, TN, and Felechia Clark (Jermaine) of Parker, Colorado; brothers, Roger White (Caren) of Seattle, WA, and Darryl Wilson of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Beverly Hairston of Fort Washington, MD, and Lelia Davis of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; extended family and dear friends.
Thomas pursued higher education at Beckley College, in his hometown of Beckley, WV, now recognized as Mountain State University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a military police officer and later advanced to the role of Deputy Director at the Veterans Affairs Administration.
Thomas, following his dedicated service at the VA, embarked on a successful career as an engineer with Norfolk Southern Railroad, retiring after many years of exemplary service.
Thomas, known for his love of family, devotion to his country, and tireless work ethic, will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warm presence, radiant smile, and enduring love for his family will be deeply missed by countless loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be 12:00PM Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Welcome Baptist Church
206 Eighth St. Beckley. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.
Friends may view and visit with the family one hour prior to the funeral service.
