Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mr. Thomas Roland Hosey, 78, of Fayetteville, went home to be with our Savior Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, May 2, 2016.

Born December 10, 1937 at Minden, WV, he was the son of the late Ed and Odessa Hooper Hosey.

Both, a United States Navy and United States Air Force veteran, he was a retiree of the Mobile Oil Corporation and New York City Police Department. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Long Island, NY and United Missionary Baptist Church, Mt. Hope, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Linda M. Hosey and Shirley O. Woodson, and brothers, William K. Hosey and Jerry D. Hosey.

He will be sadly missed and is survived by his son, Henry Watts of Minden; brother, Edward (Faustina) Hosey of Minden; sisters, Gloria Biggers and Bobby Bailey, both of Nashville, TN, Genevieve Bailey of Fairburn, GA; Marcella Hosey and Drema Robinson of Brooklyn, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside service will be 12noon Saturday, May14, 2015 at Meadow Haven Memorial Park, Ingram Branch, WV with the Rev. Phillip E. Copney Sr. officiating. Friends may call from 10am-11am at the funeral parlor.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff and nursing departments of the Hilltop Center for their care and friendship to Roland.
