Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Alice Marie Whitehead Robinson, 84, of Beckley, WV, died Saturday, August 1, 2015.

Born January 2, 1931 in Bellwood, WV, she was the daughter of the late Moses and Mittis Whitehead.

She was a member of Welcome Baptist Church, a homemaker, caregiver, and a true Missionary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Robinson Sr.; five sisters and three brothers.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her daughters, Lesia Robinson of Cleveland, OH, Leola (Jerome) Bateman of Charleston, and Vicky Robinson of Beckley; sons, David and James, both of Beckley, Robert (Ceciley) of El Paso, TX, Greg of Dunbar, and Henry (Brenda) of Cross Lanes; brother, William ôInkyö Whitehead of Beckley; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Welcome Baptist Church, 206 Eighth St., Beckley, with Pastors David Allen, Donald Cook, Thomas Steelman, and Minister David Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
