Obituary For Mrs. Alice Minor Richardson

Mrs. Alice Minor Richardson, 80, of Beckley, quietly slipped away on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House.

Alice was born September 19, 1944 in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of the late William and Thelma Helmer Minor.

Alice was a homemaker, loved her Lord

Alice, after 30 years of employment, retired from Greenman-Northrup Aircraft in New York. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God, Beckley, WV.

Alice, in addition to her parents, was preceded in death by her brothers, William “Sonny”, Kenneth and Charles Minor; nephew, Mark Grainger; and niece, Tela Quarles.

Alice leaves to cherish precious memories her husband of 57 years, William; son, Kevin (Suzanne) Richardson of Huntsville, AL; two grandchildren, Kevin Jr. and Levon; three brothers, Roy (Drema) Minor, Ronald Minor and Donald Minor, all of Beckley and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:00PM Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Calvary Assembly of God, 319 Sunset Dr., Beckley, with Pastor John Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.

Friends, while wearing masks and observing social distancing, may visit with the family one-hour prior.
