I remember the good times at New Hope Baptist Church in Beckley W. VA. Going to the choir rehearsals with my grandmother (Clara Beene). The anointed selections (ex. Somewhere Around the Throne of God) from the Tyree family. We also had good times at Mrs. Tootsie's basement with Teresa and the crew. Prayers for the family and God bless you. Love Diane Woodruff (Mrs. Beene granddaughter)

From the moment I met Amanda nearly 20 years ago in Dallas we connected! She was God fearing and loving woman of the Lord. She insisted I come to W Va with her to visit so glad I did. Over the years she's shared many memories with me of her life! She was truly loved by all who met her! She will be missed! May she rest in The bosom of the Lord until we meet again! ❤️❤️❤️

To the beautiful family of Mrs. Tyree, we first honor each of you. I've got amazing memories from my childhood of most of you. Thank God for you all. I'm honored to have known Mrs. Tyree!! I remember when Ms. Addie Law had the idea to get a gospel group together, Mrs. Tyree made the dresses for us girls, and a perfect job she did. The closeness of our families made it seem like she truly were a Mother. Her care and concern about our wellbeing were none to less sincere and genuine. I want this family to know you're truly Loved and if at anytime I can be of help don't hesitate to contact me. May the Blessings of the Lord be upon your lives. As we all are living to live again one day we say Mrs. Tyree we'll see you later. Sleep well and take your rest. We love you all Sincerely, Michael and Yvonne Staples-Brown
