Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Barbara Ann Moore Pate, 69, of Beckley died Thursday, March 1, 2018.

Born June 18, 1948 in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Wilbur and Florence Annie Oakes Moore.

Barbara was a member of Fayetteville Baptist Church and worked as a health care provider.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Pate; brother, Jesse James; sisters, Geraldine Moore, Delores Wright and Rosetta Swain.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her son, Troy L. Moore, Sr. of Desoto, TX; daughter, Delonda D. Moore of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Troy L. Moore, Jr. of Tampa, FL, Sankia Moore, Aeneas Green and Ariyana Green; great-grandchildren, De'Mauitri Hemingway and Daisean Satchell, Jr., all of Myrtle Beach, SC; brothers, James (Sally) Moore of Mooresville, NC and Charles Moore of Beckley, WV; sister, Loretta Pryor of Beckley, WV and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be 3:00PM Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Ritchie & Johnson Funeral Parlor Chapel, 748 S. Fayette St., Beckley, WV with Rev. Donald Cook officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
