Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Brenda Carrol Canterbury Turner Walker Price, 68, of Rock Creek, WV, gained her angel wings on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 after a long illness.

Born January 22, 1952 in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late Don Canterbury and Alpha Dickens Canterbury.

She believed in Jesus Christ whole-heartedly. She is now in Heaven with her son, Robert Dewayne from her first marriage to Robert Turner. In addition to her son and parents, also preceding her in death are two sisters, Emily Pettry and Sharon Burnside and two husbands, Maurice Walker Jr. and Terry Price.

Left to cherish precious memories are her first husband, Robert Turner of Naoma, WV; son, Justin Walker of Rock Creek, WV; daughter, Misty (Wesley) Scarbrough of Rock Creek, WV; two brothers, Randy Canterbury and Don (Janice) Canterbury; granddaughters, Tianna (John) Scott, Frances (James Davis) Scarbrough and Breanna (Chris) Stanley, all of Rock Creek, WV; grandsons, Wesley (Budders) Scarbrough of Rock Creek, WV and Brian Andrew Webb of Arnett, WV; four great-grandchildren, Gregory, Alyssa, Nathan and Jasmine and many nieces and nephews.

As per her request, she wanted to be cremated like her two sisters. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

She spent most of her life taking care of her family and having fun. She was good to anyone she’s ever met she went out of her way to help anyone in need. She will always be remembered for her huge heart, funny personality and love for her family.
