Obituary For Mrs. Brenda Joyce Ross

Mrs. Brenda Joyce Cosby Ross was born January 8, 1943 in Beckley, WV to the late Thelma Cosby.

Brenda was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and worked at a variety of places to include Heck’s, The Glass House and New Image Health Care. She was an avid Bingo player, where she enjoyed socializing with her friends. She was a woman of few words but was well known in the community by everyone.

Brenda's words "Hey Baby" will be sincerely missed and imitated for many years to come. She was a sweet spirit that will be remembered by her family and friends. Her transition over to Glory, on Sunday, June 21, 2026, will leave loneliness in the hearts of many,

Brenda was a graduate of Stratton High School and worked with Stratton Reunion for many years.

Brenda leaves to cherish precious memories her daughter, Belinda Barbour of Beckley, WV and brother, George Cosby (Bernice) of Columbus, GA and a host of relatives and friends.

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" 2 Corinthians 5:8.

Graveside service will be 12:00pm Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.
