Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Brenda Joyce Woodson Morst, 70, of Beckley, died Thursday, July 16, 2020. Born December 24, 1949 in Kaymoor, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles “Charlie” and Virginia “Virgie” Toney Woodson. Brenda was first a Woman of God; she was an excellent wife, cook and homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Melvin Thomas Woodson, Charles E. Paisley, John Allen, Audrian Woodson, Norval MacArthur Woodson, Charlie Truedell Woodson, Freddie George Woodson, and William “Billy” Woodson and sisters, Dorothy Marie Johnson, Deloris Mae Woodson, and Shirley Woodson. Those left to cherish precious memories are her loving husband, Kenneth; sisters, Mamie Woodson Ledwell of Cleveland, OH and Sherbdean Clark (Ronald Lawson) of Beckley, WV; numerous nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.

As per her request, she has been cremated.
