Mrs. Crystal Lea Brown, 53, of Mullens, WV, passed Sunday, April 19, 2026.

Crystal was born November 13, 1972 in Princeton, WV, she was the daughter of Lee and Alice Rhodes Hatcher Messer of Mullens, WV.

Crystal, during her life, worked as a cashier and was a member of Faith Tabernacle; She absolutely loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was active in their sport activities, including being a cheerleading coach.

Crystal was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and brothers, Randall Hatcher and Kenneth P. Hatcher.

Crystal, in addition to her parents, leaves to cherish precious memories her loving husband, William E. Brown of Mullens, WV; children, William Andrew Brown (Breanna) of Mullens, WV and Rebecca Elise (Robert) Tilley of Glen Fork, WV; grandchildren, Jagger Haught, Zayden Tilley and Azalea Brown; sister, Cynthia Hatcher (Richard) Hypes of Mullens, WV; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 3:00PM Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Spirit & Truth Ministries 100 Main St., Oak Hill, WV.

Friends may view and visit with the family one-hour prior.
