Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Delores Hannah, 80, of Stanaford, WV died Friday, February 19, 2016.

Born September 14, 1935 in Lanark, WV she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Willa Hayworth Dobbs.

She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Lanark, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond "Buddy" H. Hannah; son, Edmond L. Hannah; grandsons, Gregory Poole and Zayon Hannah; granddaughter, Charlene Hannah; three sisters; and three brothers.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her children: Yvonne Delores Hannah and Patricia Faye (Robert) Day, both of Beckley, WV, Elizabeth Ann Hannah of Katy, Texas, and Patrick Harold Hannah of Bluewell, VA and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be 12 noon, Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Lanark, WV with Rev. Walter M. Leach officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
