Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Shiloh, 83, of Oak Hill, WV, died Sunday, August 2, 2015.

Born October 19, 1931 in Rome, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Eddie Clipper and Clara Mae Johnson Hinton.

ôCootieö as she was affectionately known attended Dubois High School and went to business school in New Jersey and New York, where she lived for 40 years. Returning to WV, she worked for Fayette County Vocational Education for 18 years as Fayette County Adult Basic Education record keeper, she was a member of Hilltop Worship Center.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Faye Martin; three brothers Eddie Jr., Jonathan, and William Clipper.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her sisters, Rudine Clipper of Oak Hill, Patricia Outlaw of Brooklyn, NY and Trena Jones of Minden; brother, Marvin (Lynette) Hinton of Beckley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 9, 2015, at Hilltop Worship Center, Hilltop Loop Rd., Hilltop WV., with Rev. Terry Damron officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
