Joanna, Mom loved your Mom. I will always remember Mom speaking fondly of her and Dulcina coming to visit Mom at our house before she passed away. And you know l will always love you for being with me at BARH and praying for Mom. I am truly sorry for the loss of your precious Mother. She was a beautiful soul and l am sure she and Mom are "catching up" on the VA news in Heaven. Much love and many prayers for oeace and comfort in the days and weeks ahead. Love Janie

To Anna and Edna. You two have always been like a sister to me. Dul always made me feel like I was somebody. She will be missed fir her wisdom and kindness. Love. christine

Dulcina was my second mother. From the first day that we meet, she treated me like one of her daughters and I always felt like I was.Edna and Joanne were my sisters. There are no words that could ever express how much I loved and respected her. We had many talks that became life lessons for me. Such a gentle one. She was the best cook that I have ever known and I was always ready to chow down. I moved away from Beckley in 1971 but I never visited without stopping at Mom's house. I will forever love and miss you Dul. Take your rest, you took care of everyone. "It's Your Time."

I remember Dulcina by working with her at VA Hospital. Such a wonderful and careing lady. So kind. You could feel the presence of God around her. My prayers for Joann and family during this time. Kathy Motley

My mom best friend , had Sunday dinner for years after church in the family house with her and the rest of the lawsons. God Bless the Family. Dickie & Mickie

I worked with Dulcina for many years on a surgical unit. She was a wonderful nurse and coworker. Her presence and care made a distinct difference in many patient's lives. Rest in peace❤
