Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Belcher, 88, of Beckley, died Saturday, September 1, 2018.

Born October 23, 1929 in MacDonald, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Howard Thomas.

She was a housewife and member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Belcher Sr.; daughter, Petrina Randall; sons, Dennis Frazier and Joseph Belcher; brother, Walter Watczela and sisters, Gloria Patterson, Shirley Anderson, Flobell Thomas, and Libby Thomas.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her children, Daniel Frazier, Jr., Donald Frazier, Raymond (Sharon) Belcher Jr., Eric (Denise) Belcher, Vincent Belcher, Donna (Gary) Swift, Benita (James) Stembridge, Rita Belcher, Cheryl Belcher, Vanessa (Zachary Jr.) Grandy; brother, Joe (Jeanette) Thomas; sister, Henrietta Strickland; 33 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00AM, Monday, September 10, 2018 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 770 S. Fayette St., Beckley, with Evangelist Jeanette Thomas and Bishop Clarence Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
