Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Ellen Verna Loving Gray, 69, of Oak Hill, WV died Thursday, February 28, 2019.

Born July 18, 1949 in Summerlee, WV, she was the daughter of the late Elbert Loving and Willie F. Willis Davis.

Ellen was a member of First Baptist Church of Summerlee, where she served as church clerk and finance secretary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, James Davis, Sr.; son, Adrian Loving; sister, Doris Redd and brother, James “Toodles” Davis, Jr.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her daughters, Lakeeba Loving of Oak Hill, WV, Kimberly and Anitra Loving, both of Columbus, OH; sons, Terrence and Brenton Loving, both of Fort Worth, TX; siblings, Michael Loving of Columbus OH, Louis Loving of Phoenix, AZ, Jerry Davis of Las Vegas, NV, Mae Garland and Melanie Davis, both of Columbus, OH and Karen (Lynn) Rudolph of Cleveland, OH and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Summerlee, Summerlee, WV with Rev. William R. Stevens officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior at the church.
