Obituary For Mrs. Emma Parker
Mrs. Emily McCoullum Parker was the second of five children born March 11, 1919 in Opelousas AL to Mr. and Mrs. Lewis and Odessa Hill McCoullum. She died Sunday, December 15, 2019.
Mrs. Parker was raised in AL until early adulthood and got saved at an early age. She moved to WV to be with her sister, Mary. After a period of time, she returned to AL where she met and married David Parker Sr. To this union three children were born, David (Emma) Parker Jr. (deceased), Maria Y. Parker Harris and Joe Lee (Emma) Parker.
Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her parents, husband son and niece, Lana. Mrs. Parker leaves five grandchildren, Alexis Christopher Alicia Michael and Kristin; five great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Malachi Matthias Charlton and Zayden and nieces, Juanita Lucy Ann Jackie Barbra Shelby Donna Jean, Cynthia, Lana, deceased and Emma.
God also sent her an angel named Della Lewis, her caregiver and we are truly thankful for her.
Funeral service will be 12:00PM Friday December 20, 2019 at Free & Independent Holiness Church 106 7th St. Beckley, with Bishop Earnest Stewart officiating. Burial will following in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
