My deepest condolences to the Everhart and Gwynn families. May the "Comforting Spirit of God" comfort and strengthen each of you during this difficult. I will always remember [almost] everyone on Grant Street walking through Mrs. Wright's yard and down her sidewalk to attend Sunday School at Ebenezer. Rest in Heaven, Florine.

Although Momma Florine has moved back home to be with OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN, she touched so many lives, and has left a permanent imprint on the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was truly a BONUS MOM, and taught me so much about life. Although some people viewed me as a step-child, I was always treated as her daughter. She never made me feel like a step-child; she made me feel like one of her biological daughters. Momma Florine always shared her time, and love, with me any time I came to spend the weekend. Many weekends Daddy would be busy or working, but Bonus Mom would always have fun activities planned for me, Towanna, and Rachelle. From sewing, knitting, cooking, and baking to planning outings to the local carnivals, trips to New River Park to swim, cooking dinner and always having the patience to let us help. We always looked forward to baking Mrs. Good Cookies. I had no idea, as a young girl, that being a bonus daughter would be such a wonderful experience. Momma Florine touched my life so much that I have been able to spread love to my non-biological children, and friends of my daughter. God called his Angel home; may the trumpets sound loud, and the choir sing for her arrival. May all the families that are there waiting for her begin their celebration. She will be missed, but the memories will forever linger as if it were just yesterday. We love and miss you great woman of God.
