Obituary For Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Stevens Allen
Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Stevens Allen, 35, of Summerlee, WV, was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Born on February 23, 1991, in Beckley, WV, she was the beloved daughter of Ronald Leon Stevens and Myra Kaye McFarland Stevens. While her passing was sudden, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now resting in the arms of the Lord. Frances left a lasting, positive impact on everyone she met, and her vibrant spirit will be deeply missed.
A 2009 graduate of Oak Hill High School, Frances began her collegiate journey at Alderson Broaddus University before transferring to Marshall University. A dedicated student, she consistently earned a place on the Dean’s List before graduating in 2016 with a Regents Bachelor of Arts degree. Driven by a desire to help others, she continued her education at the Academy of Careers and Technology, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2021. Throughout her nursing career, Frances served patients at Beckley ARH Hospital, FMRS, and the Beckley Healthcare Center. Her kind spirit and professional dedication earned her the love and respect of many colleagues and friends.
Frances was known for her affectionate smile and a beautiful spirit that touched people in ways that will never be forgotten. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and she loved to walk and visit the river. At the center of her heart, she shared an unconditional love with her parents, Ronald “Ronnie” and Myra Stevens, creating a multitude of memories together.
On August 13, 2019, she welcomed her first son, Malachi, forming an inseparable bond. In 2021, she met the love of her life, Ty Anthony Allen, and the two were wed on August 30, 2024. Together, they grew their family with three more children: Ty Jr. (born October 10, 2023), Saint (born March 10, 2025), and Ramyiah (born April 8, 2026).
A woman of remarkable strength, Frances was a devoted mother who adored her children immensely; they were truly the center of her world.
She was proceeded in death by her brother, Michael McFarland; grandfathers, Robert Stevens and John D. McFarland; grandmothers, Helen Stevens and Beulah McFarland; uncles, John W.
