Ms. Joann Maxine Wilson, 93, of Minden WV passed Sunday, Becember 7, 2025.

Born January 14, 1932 in Glen Jean, WV, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Woodrow and Valara Wilson.

She was a caregiver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Alphonso Wilson; daughter, Carla Wilson; brothers, Raymond Wilson and George Rose; sister, Louise Blanks and daughter-in law, Linda Wilson.

Left to cherish precious memories are her sons, Alfred Wilson of Rochester, NY, Anthony Wilson and Allen Wilson, both of Minden, WV; daughters, Donna K. (Guillermo) West of Clinton, MD, Vickie Bradley of Van Nuys, CA and Lavera Wilson of Beckley, WV; brother, Daniel (Geraldine Guyton-Wilson) Wilson of Gulfport, MI; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00AM Saturday, December 20, 2025 the Ritchie & Johnson Funeral Parlor Chapel with Pastor Regina Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill, WV

Friends, while wearing masks and observing social distancing, may visit with the family thirty minutes prior.
