Obituary For Mrs. Julia Fannie Moore Swann

Mrs. Julia Fannie Moore Swann was born on May 1, 1939 to the late Eugene V, and Rev. Judy F. Moore in Slab Fork, WV.

On Thursday, December 01, 2022, our sister-in-Lord, Julia, transitioned from this Earth to her Heavenly Home. Upon her request she was cremated.

This warrior decreed: "II Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the Faith.

She was preceded in death by her dear parents, Eugene Vernon Moore and Rev. Judy Fannie Moore; brothers Vernon E, Moore and Clarence J. Moore; husband, Calvin Swann and her companion, Jasper Williams.

She leaves to mourn her transitional, her daughters, Veronica (David) Vaughn of Ashburn, VA and Constance (Wallas) Watterson of Kannapolis, NC and son, Calvin Swann of Kannapolis, NC; brothers; John P Moore of Aberdeen, MD and James E. (Rose) Moore of Mesa, AZ.; sisters, Lou Alice Larkins of Detroit, MI, Delpha Mitchell of Clinton Township, MI, Geraldine (Hazel) Sorell of Jefferson, SC, Elder Mary Alexander of Beckley, WV, Gwendolyn (William) Brooks of Jacksonville, FL and Evangelist Queen (Donald) Thompson of Beckley, WV.

Her legacy will be proceeded by her six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, all whom she loved very much.

Julia Swann was a graduate of Byrd Prillerman High School. She continued her education in NY, becoming a certified Nurse's Aide and a licensed caregiver. She also had a Catering Business.

Julia Swann was baptized at an early age, professing her Pentecostal Faith.

She was a forty-five-year resident of Jamaica, NY. Upon her illness, Julia Swann migrated to 310 Worley Road, Beckley, WV.

Family, with sincere gratitude, will be accepting visits, calls and cards at 310 Worley Road, Beckley.

The family of Julia Swann give love and sincere Thanks for all you have done to make our journey bearable for such a time as this.

Private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Julia Swann interment will be at the Blue Ridge Memorial Garden, Prosperity.

My sincere condolences to the family of Julia. We were next door neighbors in the small coal mining town of Slab Fork. It is amazing that all one has to do is mention Slab Fork and it's assumed that I know the person, well in this case I do.John I never knew you as John but as Pal Johnny. My prayers for you as you say goodbye to Julia in this life and she transition to her heavenly home.
