Obituaries – Their Stories Live On

Mrs. Lillie Mae Harbinson Berry Shepherd, 88, of Mabscott died Saturday, May 7, 2016.

Born October 3, 1927 in Mabscott, WV, she was the daughter of the late Molten and Lillie Mae Dooley Harbinson.

She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Berry; seven brothers and two sisters.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her sons, Samuel A. (Carolyn) Berry and Roy E. (Brenda) Berry, both of Mabscott, WV; daughters, Barbara Penn, Charlotte (Jimmy) Green, and Lisa L. Berry, all of Mabscott, WV; brothers, John Harbinson and David Harbinson; sisters, Lois Holmes, Lullabell Kirkpatrick, Sunday Hendricks, and Ann Sears and 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 141 New Guinea Ave. Lanark, with clergy, Bishop David Cartwright, Pastor Brian Wallington, and Pastor Damon Hamby officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
