Obituary For Mrs. Mabel Snyder

Mother Mabel Snyder, 95, of Beckley, WV, transitioned Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in Bowers Hospice House.

Born April 4, 1926 in Landgraph, WV, she was the daughter of the late John Roebuck and Edna Martin.

Mother Snyder was a homemaker and a long-time and faithful member of the Holiness Church of Jesus, where she was a mother and secretary, and a long-time and faithful member of the Judah Praise Outreach Ministry, where she was a mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Robert Snyder Jr., whom she wed on April 16, 1950 and brother, John “Buddy” Roebuck.

Left to cherish precious memories are three children, Marian Pickens of Beckley, WV, Robert Anton Snyder of Jonesboro, GA, and Sherri Nicholas of Marietta, GA; four granddaughters, Tye Parish and Ramia Parish, both of Maple Heights, OH, Xynique (Ellis) Sims of Twinsburg, OH, and Kiana Nicholas of Smyrna, GA; seven great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; six brothers and sisters, Michael Roebuck of Burlington, NC, Sharon (Ray) McQueen of Forest, VA, Karen Roebuck of Lynchburg, VA, Michelle Roebuck of Charlotte, NC, Cynthia Wright of Appomattox, VA and Nel Pease of Atlanta, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Funeral service will be 2:30PM Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Ritchie & Johnson Funeral Parlor Chapel 748 S. Fayette St. Beckley with Bishop Fred T. Simms officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.
